Initial Idea
The idea for the second experiment had some changes before the final execution during the experiment. Initially, inspired by Borges’ The Labyrinth of Babel, I was trying to hold all of the works in the form of multiple hexagonal virtual rooms. Those rooms can be accessed through augmented reality which adds a physical layer of reflection to the conceptual idea of it.
Primary Stage
This will be the preliminary site to access all sorts of ideas and works, which are presented in an unorganized, loose formate. The audience is then anticipated to access the reflection part via scanning specific elements on each page of the work.
Body of Work
This is the first draft of table of contents. An extensive usage of hexagons is incorporated in order to further reinforce the hexagonal structures of the project. In this part, only part I and II will be included.
The first draft of template expected for the concepts using diffuse reflection to express the idea of a loss of meaning because of the excessive flood of information. The texts are designed to overlap with each other with very dense tracking to show the loss of meaning because of superfluos information.
The color scheme is expected to be in black and white monochrome in the attempt to show the void.
The first draft of template expected for the concepts using specular reflection. A more modern aesthetics is incorporated in order to show a more organized level of the specular reflection. On the left with a more aligned hexogon shape, again, it is the anchor point for people to scan and enter the AR experiences.
Monochromatic in colors is the color scheme for this lens, demonstrating how one specific idea can be expressed through one perspective.
