Diffuse reflection is the absurdity that born from the confrontation between people’s desire to unity of intelligence and the paradoxical groundless situation they created in relation with the world. Yet, eradicating it means no goods, as Kierkegard trying to cure such irrationality is rejected by Camus. Diffuse reflection is part of the equivalence that one constantly make in their journey to pursuit such intelligence. It is what we should keep and live with in order to restore the majesty of life.
The creation of diffuse reflection denotes that freedom is never a true existing thing but a postulation and hypothesis conceived by human beings. Yet the very illusion it creates still is as valid and vivid as the blood that flows within our veins which serves as the impetus of one’s fundamental life.
Freedom is individualized within each being regarding diffuse reflection. They feel free with regard to themselves, and not so much free as the liberated specular reflection which they may despise. It is always about relativity.

For Camus, death become the liberating medium for such absurd individuals living under the shadow of diffuse reflection.  Nevertheless, diffuse reflection does create future. Not a disparaging or pessimistic one where only death serves as the opening gate of one’s prison, but one that exists by constantly multiplying and duplicating itself. It creates a bitter sweet symphony that is extending the existence of life, not through negation, but through coexistence. And here comes multiple reflection which mediates and oversees such coexistence in order to create the plural future that we have.
The desert is the main visual for diffuse reflection. It is the place where infinite particles are contained, yet none of these are expressing a valid meaning but absurdity. Yet, the idea for diffuse reflection is never about to remove the desert, but to live with it, and to imagine everyone as a Happy Sisyphus living with absurdity.
